Stellar, The Ashok

Stellar is a stunning property at The Ashok, earlier it was NomNom. Its a pan asian cuisine restaurant. The interiors are stunning with a spiral staircase of actual seating, a DJ desk through it was very quite during the lunch time. The interiors are classy with Maroon interiors, they also had a separate room with a really long dinning table, the lighting in that room was bright and that room actually looked perfect for family dinners.

As we entered, the staff very politely welcomed us and got us seated and served us water and gave us the menu.Upon asking he also suggested us food depending upon our preferences.

Starting from the Dim Sums, we had-

Chive and mushroom- Thin skinned delicious dimsums, with a good balance between chive and mushrooms.

Crystal prawn dimsum- These dim sum were crystal clear, stuffed with minced prawns which tasted amazing.

Sushi-

California rolls-  These sushi had crabs in the sushi roll, they were topped with a spicy creamy sauce and tasted an absolute dilate.

Prawn tempura rolls- Prawn sushi is always my favorite sushi. Here these sushi’s were really well prepared and presented well.

For appraisers-

Chicken Satay- One of the best chicken Satays I’ve ever had, it was served with a thai dip which gave an edge to this dish.

Veg spring rolls- Crispy springrolls served in an edible bowl , they tasted great with the sweet chili dip.

Coming to the main course-

I had Chicken in Asian basil sauce and noodles tasted great and made a good combo together.

For desserts, I loved both the mango cheese cake as well as the tiramisu.
