Fat Lulus is not very new but sadly hasn’t got its due as they offer lip smacking food at decent prices. It’s surely one of my favorites for Italian food, interestingly its not authentic Italian but inspired from the recipes of the Italian Americans and Pizzerias in Brooklyn.
What makes their pizza’s stand apart?
Each pizza is fresh and its rolled infront of you, its thin crust and wood fried. The use a *secret* home made tomato sauce and imported meats & cheese with fresh veggies.
Talking about the SDA branch and the delicious food-
The one in SDA is quite small with a limited seats of 15 people with small outdoor seating as well. It was a very cute interior with an open kitchen and funky chairs.
For food we had,
Ceasar Salad- Fresh ice burg lettuce, the quality and the taste of the chicken was really great and if you’re a salad lover like me, you just can’t miss this one.
Jamaican Jerk- It had a crisp thin crust with a tangy tomato sauce. The toppings included Grilled jerk chicken, jalapeno, roasted garlic and chicken, also loaded with lots of cheese. The pizza was a bit spicy and I bet you haven’t had a pizza like this before. You have to try it!
Arrabiatta in spaghetti- Spaghetti tossed in red hot sauce, however it was mildly spiced and had a good quantity too. It had a plenty of veggies and over all it was really nice.
Jalapeno Cheese poppers- These cheese poppers are the ideal finger food to have with your drinks or have as you wait for your pizza. They are given with a spicy dip and is a treat for the people who love spicy food.
For drinks I had a Chocolate peanut shake which was quite thick and I’m sure will be loved by all the chocolate fans. If you’re planning to go here to eat a lot I’ll suggest you to opt for a mocktail instead as its too heavy on the tummy.
Service and Pricing-
The service is amazing with the staff treating you very warmly and suggesting you what you can have according to your taste and preferences. It takes about 10 to 15mins to get your pizza ready, which is a decent time. Also, the do home delivery as well and have got plenty of branches all over the city. The rates are at par with any other pizzeria, and is ideal for chilling with your friends and family. It’s totally worth the money you pay as they quantity as well as the quality is superb.
