Located in the Janpath Market, you have to pass a tiny lane to enter this place while reading lovely quotes on the sides.
As they say Home away from home, you feel you’re in your warm cozy living room with comfortable Sofa’s and wooden chairs, a long dinning tables. The decor is basically just like your living room, with rusted table fans, an artificial deer’s head above the fire place, a mini library and an open kitchen for Pasta’s at the entrance and a live wooden pizza kitchen.
They have an open seating as well as an outdoor seating, the outdoor seating is very pretty with beautiful yellow lights and candles. Even in summer’s you’ll not feel hot.
Instead of shouting your lungs out calling waiter waiter, there are small bells kept on each table. Ring them instead of wasting your energy.
For food we ordered-
Veg Salad- Came in a mini vintage car, it had cottage cheese and lots of lettuce and olives. The dressing was good and I liked it.
Lychee Wonton- Bread topped with slices of lychee, coriander leaves, micro-vegetables and tangy sweet chutney. Have it in ONE GO!
European Parcels- Potli shaped dimsums with vegetable fillings, it was just average.
Thai chicken skewers- Thai spices infused on this chicken, chicken was skewered on a thick stem than any stick. It came in mini shot glasses half full of a spicy sauce.
Paneer Tikka- Soft and spicy paneer pieces served with mint chutney.
Beetroot quini tikki- Red mini tikki’s, were covered with quini which gave these tikki’s an edge. Just btw, these Tikki’s are very healthy to have.
Chicken Tikka Platter- There were 2 types of Chicken Tikka’s in it, both of them were amazing. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED.
Pasta- Very Salty
Barbecue Chicken Pizza- Thin crust wood fried pizza with yum toppings.
Tiffin Box Meal- This had chicken biryaani, a mutton curry, salad and raita. Everything was lipsmacking good.
For desserts-
I loved the Chocolate raspberry cake spice, presented beautifully with a droolable taste.
The service was fine, but can improve a bit, the prices are not very high and one can easily afford a family dinner or date without burning a hole in your pocket.
