Kama Food Fest!

Kama celebrates each Indian cuisine in every 20days, like Hyderabadi, Kashmiri, Punjabi etc. This time they are making us taste the Rajasthani cuisine.

Are you still alien to the beautiful Rajasthani cuisine? No, I’m not talking about Choki Dhaani in Jaipur. If you haven’t tried the cuisine, do it now at Kama, Radisson Blu as they are celebrating the wonderful cuisine with lots of good food, amazing ambiance and what now. With the puppets and colorful umbrellas welcoming you.

So my culinary journey began with-

Pyaaz Kachodi with Keri ka Jaljeera- I loved the tangy jaljeera, it was really a very refreshing drink, and I re-ordered it 3 times, haha.

Paneer Jaiselmeri Sampler- Big chunks of cottage cheese wrapped but in indian spices. One of the best Paneer Tikka’s I ever had.

Achaari Fish Tikka- Soft and tender small pieces of fish were amazing. It was a a beautiful blend of the indian spices and the soft fish presented beautifully.

Rajasthani Sampler- This had 3 types of appetizers all were very tasty.

Dhaniya Murg Tikka- It was served on a burner so it was smocking hot. Pieces of chicken marinated and presented on a seekh. It was my favorite and a must recommended dish.

Coming to main course, I had-

Laal Maas- Laas maas is one of the most popular dish when we talk about Rajasthani Food. A very spicy but equally tasty treat to your taste buds. I loved the authenticity of it and wondered what a master chef can cook with such delicacy and authenticity.

Daal Bhaati Choorma- The choorma had be broken into pieces and then add daal into it and then have it. It was fun making it and better eating it. A very typical Rajasthani meal which you’ll not find very easily else where.

Mewaari Paneer- The gravy was thick and rich with cream and veggies along with cottage cheese. A real tasty treat for the paneer lovers.

Mix Veg Jaipuri- A traditional mix of veggies and Indian spices.

In breads I had, poori and roti both of them were really nice.

Coming to desserts, I drooled to-

Mawa Kachori- It tasted amazing! The kachori was so sweet and tasty. A really good Indian dessert, I never tried. Finally had a chance to gobble it and I loved it to the core.

Malai Ghewar- Lovely presentation and a really nice taste.

The service here has always been splendid, the staff was very polite and took the time to explain us each dish and its origin. The head chef Mr Vishaal is purely a genius in the kitchen. I’m truly a fan of his cooking and presenting the food this beautifully .
