The restaurant was very well decorated with kites and the great culture of the Nizaam’s, upon asking about the changed decor, they told me its there Daawat-e-Nizaam festival going on. The sitting arrangement was pretty good, with Comfy sofa’s and sofa chairs, with round and rectangular tables.

For the welcome drink I got- Noor- E- Nizaam

It was quite a re-refreshing drink after a hot sunny day, it was a delight to have.

For starters I ordered-

Galouti Kabab- Signature kabab of the restaurant, made of finely minced lamb, mixed with papaya seasonedwith Indian spices, cooked on mahi tawa. This was the star of the noon, it melted as it touched my mouth. The flavors were amazing and I still can’t stop drooling over it.

Nazakat Aloo- Stuffed pinwheels of potatoes. Shallow fried. I felt the potato layer was a bit thick and uncooked.

Dakshini Mahi Tikka- Fish steaks marinated with Dakshin spices. The fish was tandoor cooked and very soft. I loved it.

Lazakat Paneer Tikka- Soft pieces of cottage cheese, marinated with Indian spices and yogurt. They were a delight to the vegetarians.

Mawa kebabs- Enriched with dry fruits, these seekh kababs were veg and I totally loved them. The best veg dish here.

Falaknuma Chooza: Named after the famous Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad it was a char Grilled Chicken. The Chicken was tender and the marination was done perfectly.

Coming to the main course-

I had Haleem, omg Haleem! It’s a traditional Muslim dish, mainly made of beef. But here it was with Mutton. It was a beautiful blend of Mutton, Daal and Indian spices. They should’ve served it with caramelized onions, ginger and chopped green chili, as it is authentically made. However this dish here did justice to it.

Factory Daal- Daal makhni so creamy and flavorful.

Biryaani- Biryaani is everyone’s fav and here it was heavenly with Sikandrabad Murgh Curry, which was a killer combination.

Desserts-

My fav being the Pan ice cream- It was so good, with rich flavor of the paan.

The service was pretty good, the staff was polite and informative about the food they offered. I remember complaining about the potatoes I had and the chef specially cooked it again for me. How sweet is that. Do try this place as soon as possible as there Noor e Nizaam is going on, to get a Royal feeling.
